Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returned to the pay-per-view (PPV) market last Saturday night (July 30, 2016) in Atlanta, Georgia, with a slam-bang UFC 201 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which saw Tyron Woodley upset the 170-pound apple cart with his first-round destruction of Robbie Lawler.
With one “Ruthless” knockout.
In the co-main event, Rose Namajunas watched her strawweight title hopes go bye-bye with a close split decision loss to the still undefeated Karolina Kowalkiewicz, while not-so-“Immortal” Matt Brown was folded up by the new-and-improved Jake Ellenberger.
